DK – Giraffe Hat
I was asked to knit a Giraffe hat for a cute little girl. I knitted the inner first and tried in on Erica to see if it would fit so I knew how many stitches I could chart to design the hat outer.
My first inner fitted perfectly, all I had to do now was decide how I wanted the Giraffe head to look so I could make a chart. I looked at lots of Giraffe heads on google images.
Giraffe’s have spots down their necks
- Giraffe patches down the side of their neck
and down the back of their necks
- Giraffe’s have patches down the back of their necks
big nostrils
- Giraffe’s have big nostrils
ears that point out to the side
- Giraffe’s ears point out to the side
and soft horns
- Giraffe’s have 2 soft horns
