I can’t remember where I got the idea to knit a funky Elmo headband and write the pattern.  It took me a while to source some bright red eyelash wool.

I made designed his noses and eyes to be stuffed and stand out, just like Elmo’s!

I used black buttons for his eye balls, you need to remember to sew the buttons on before stuffing his eyes!

Because Elmo is knitted in eyelash wool it is very light to wear – yet very warm!
