Chunky Badger Headband Pattern

Earlier on this winter I was walking down my local High Street when I saw a little girl wearing a panda headband, with 2 pom poms for the ears.

It looked a fun way to keep little ears warm – I played around with some ideas I got.

I had already designed the Badger Hat – my first attempt for the Badger headband eneded up way to deep.  I soon learnt that the headbands needed to be a lot less rows than the hats to look right.

The pom poms can be made as large or small as the maker likes and tightly packed or loose and floppy.

At this time of year my sample headbands are given to family and friends children as part of their Christmas box.
