Chunky – Cable Cowl and Headband
Headbands are a fashionable way to keep your hair under control in the strong winds we have been having, as well as keeping your ears warm. They are fashionable for babies through to adults. In fact when I was out walking in high winds at the end of last month I saw adult males wearing them.
I have designed a nice chunky wide cable headband that will do the job.
I knitted the same pattern in two colours for a day outside with two girls I know.
I designed a matching fashionable cowl that buttons up. You could make this in two colours to match the headbands.
You can find the pattern here.
I have added the additional option of making a thick warm chunky cowl that is circular and goes over your head. All you need to do it miss out the garter stitch at the beginning and end of the cowl pattern, cast off and sew the seam up when the cowl is the length you require.
I have some novelty fun ideas in my head for headbands from babies to ladies, why not subscribe to this blog so you don’t miss them. Bottom right hand corner of your screen.
